If you're looking for a 5-star apartment stay in London which boasts an ideal location, jaw dropping views, and everything a couple could wish for in a romantic escape, look no further than Cheval Three Quays.
- Location: On the Thames riverfront, opposite Tower Bridge.
- Accommodations: Cheval Three Quays has 159 apartments from studios to three-bedrooms, all of which have a contemporary modern design, and come with all mod cons. The apartment views are broken down into Tower, River or Urban.
- Dining options: There isn’t a restaurant on site but there are plenty close by including shops for buying your own food to use in your apartment.
- What else is there: If you need them, Cheval Three Quays has the facilities of a five-star hotel, including a 24-hour reception, maid service five days a week, and a decent gym.
- What’s nearby: Tower Bridge and the Tower of London are on your doorstep if you haven’t visited before, along with plenty of restaurants and bars, and The Shard is just across the Thames. Also Tower Hill Tube Station is just a few minutes walk away, which is ideal for sightseeing or travelling further afield.
- Why go: From the moment you arrive, you are immediately greeted with smiling faces at reception, and offered help for anything you may need during your stay. But the main reason is for the luxury apartments with a view.
The Space
This stylish apartment hotel opened in 2014, and it's part of the Cheval group's collection of London properties, which feel more like exclusive luxury homes than a hotel. I first stayed here with my sister on a visit to London, six months after the hotel threw its doors open, and since then it’s been my go-to place to stay when I am in the city for longer stays. A fully self apartment offers flexibility with the benefits of a home-away-from-home, with perks such as a kitchen where you can cook a proper meal, free internet, laundry facilities if you need them, and the space to entertain friends or family. Cheval Three Quays also has panoramic views of the river including the iconic Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and The Shard. It’s also in a part of London where I used to live, so the home-away-from home feeling rings even more true.
Where We Stayed
Most times we book a two-bedroom apartment so our adult son and daughter can come to London and join us for a few nights to catch up, and where possible, we ask for a Tower Bridge or river view. The apartment has its own entrance hall which includes a work station and a huge closet, and access to the guest bathroom which comes with a full bath. In the open-plan living room, however, you’ll be drawn to the view of Tower Bridge through the floor to ceiling windows at the far end. You can enjoy the view from pretty much everywhere; the spacious sitting area, the dining area, the open plan kitchen, and a strategically placed easy chair and footrest. The apartment also has a balcony which with views across the Thames, Tower Bridge, The Shard and the Tower of London. The decor is luxurious using white and cream colours, leather couches, polished wood floors, and a few accents of colour. The kitchen has it all, from an espresso machine to a dishwasher, and the two bedrooms have a similar decor to the rest of the apartment, with the spacious master having its own bathroom, and an easy chair and footstool from which to enjoy the views. Other amenities include free internet access, cable TV, bathrobes, and air-conditioning. If you are looking for flexibility, privacy and all the perks of a home away from home, Cheval Three Quays is an ideal choice; for luxury and convenience, with more than a hint of exclusivity and style, it is hard to beat.

Love London
I'm originally from Hong Kong but used to go to London quite a bit with my parents when I was a child. I have always had a soft spot for the city but haven't been back in about a decade - it's so expensive there right now, especially coming from Australia. But one day soon.....I want to walk Trafalgar Square at sunset, take in a show, and goshopping!

What Views!
I am originally from London, and the east end, and have to say how much the place has changed! There are great hotels like this and the Shard, amazing places to eat out, and you have all those historical sights on your doorstep. I go back every 3 years to see family so I don't need a hotel but I will recommend this one to my friends for sure! Those views of the bridge and the Shard are amazing.
