Road Test
Some years ago I made a bit of a mess of reshaping my eyebrows myself, which meant discovering the best products to enhance your brows, and correct over-plucking mistakes. From pencils to powders I’ve tried an impressive lineup of options, and even though I eventually took the plunge and got my brows tattooed, I still find them lacking a little fullness and richness in colour. Brow products are still a part of my makeup regime as a result, and when I saw the TV ads for Maybelline Tattoo Brow Gel Tint I got quite excited. A product you can apply, leave to dry, then peel off for perfectly defined and filled brows for three days? Never mind it being useful for travellers; if it worked as promised, it would be a godsend at home too. What I discovered is that calling this product a game changer is no exaggeration. And better still it’s enriched with royal jelly and aloe vera, leaving your brows conditioned as well as beautifully tinted, with the colour gradually and evenly fading over time. Applying is easy although I have to admit I didn’t get it quite right the first time. All you need to do is apply the tint over your brows in your desired shape, and allow it to dry for at least 20 minutes. Then comes the bit that freaks some people out; you peel off the dried gel-tint, starting from the inner corner of the brow towards the outside, to reveal your perfectly “tattooed” brows. The first time I had a go I didn’t use anywhere near enough tint - so shoot me, I’m conservative - which made the peeling off process tricky, and the result not as good as I’d hoped for. When I had a second go using more, however, voila! My brows not only looked much fuller and more defined, but they stayed that way for at least three days.
Beauty In Travel Loves
- The container is smaller than a mascara, and easy to travel with.
- The colour matching is really good.
- The tint lasts for at least three days.
Insider Tips
- If you have colour resistant brows, or grey hairs in your brows, leave on for up to two hours for the best results.
- If in doubt of what colour best suits you, or you don’t like your brows to look too bold, opt for a lighter shade than normal just to be safe.

Surprised
Actaully I was surprised to see a beauty product like this on a travel website (I'm new) but I have to agree it's brilliant. I am addicted!

It Works
Like your review person I botched my eyebrows when I was young but I find this is a great alternative to tattooing. I marked it down a bit because I reckon it's a bit pricey the tube doesn't last that long if you use it every 3-4 days. Otherwise brilliant.

Not Sure
A friend let me try hers....like your reviewer I don't think I used enough product so the result wasn't great. Maybe I should try again?

Good One
I thought this would be rubbish but it's actually very good. The tube lasted quite a long time too although you have to use quite a lot of product to get a good result. Colour matching isn't easy I got it too dark first time LOL

Awesome Product
I simply love this gel.....my eyebrows are a good shape but fair and a bit lightweight but this stuff makes all the difference! Show me a product which is better for the same money :)
