More French Glamour In Your Bathroom

As I mentioned in last week’s blog, when I used to live in the UK visiting France was a favourite holidays, and thanks to the Australian-make luxury spa brand, Chateau Ambience, you can now capture the grandeur, opulence and glamour of France’s finest chateaus in your own bathroom. Another great product in its new line of premium skincare is Walnut Face Scrub  - and for it turned out to be a great surprise. I’ve used walnut scrubs before and found them a wee bit too harsh for the face, but this product has a lovely formula with a creamy base, and key ingredients including super fine walnut shells, combined with orange and oatmeal. In a test, using it was also easy. All you need to do is moisten your face with warm water (I tend to do it in the shower), apply the scrub using your fingers and massage in circular motions avoiding the delicate eye area but including your neck and décolletage, the rinse off. It has a vaguely nutty aroma, thanks to the walnuts, but like the body scrub I reviewed last week, it’s also highly affordable, costing just $19.95, and it comes in a simple white tube which is easy to keep in the bathroom at home, or to pack if you decide to take it on your travels. Chateau Ambiance is a real find for both its luxury combined with affordability, and both the body scrub and face scrub are lovely, skin-enhancing products which you can pack into your toiletries bag, and use at home, and which capture some of the essence of France.
