Three Things We Loved: The lockable external pockets, the collapsible frame, it looks good!
Road Test:
Ask anyone what key things they’re looking for in new luggage, and you’ll likely get a variety of different answers. For some, it might be having a case which is super lightweight, while for others it might one which is easy to move about, has lots of compartments or pockets, or has built-in TSA locks for extra security. For some travellers, however, having a piece of luggage which ticks most of the above, but which is also easy to store when not in use, is highly likely to appeal, and thanks to Paklite, there’s a new Sto-Way range of luggage which does just that. There are three pieces in the range including a cabin bag, a medium case and a large case, all of which feature a special frame which collapses for flat storage. The range comes in three popular colours styled with a trim, including black with a gold trim, grey with an orange trim, and red with a black trim. Recently I got to check out the new Sto-Way Large trolley, which weighs 3.6 kg empty, and has the dimensions of 77 x 49 x 29 cm (expanded) with a capacity of 96 litres. If you’re travelling in a situation where storage space is an issue, or you have storage issues at home, this case has a lightweight aluminium frame which packs down to half its size (in depth). This means it can be slipped under a bed, or another compact space. Other features include two sturdy in-line wheels with steel bearings which makes it easier to wheel on rougher surfaces, TSA approved key padlocks, a retractable handle, a large lockable front pocket, and a padded top and side carry handles. There’s also a nicely lined interior with multiple pockets for your possessions, and straps to keep your things in place. The case comes with a generous three year warranty.
The Verdict:
There are a lot of trolleys to choose from today, but few which have the added bonus of being strong and looking good, as well as collapsible for easy storage, both on the road and at home. This new Sto-Way range is incredibly practical as well as ticking many boxes for discerning travellers.
