Road Test

Synergie Skin is an all-Australian brand I discovered last year, and if you follow this blog regularly you might remember I’ve reviewed a couple of the products in its range including a top notch vitamin C serum. There are a number of reasons why I like this brand. For one, its products are supported by clinical data and they are free of any ethically questionable ingredients. However, Synergie Skin is a cosmeceutical skin care brand, which means its products are highly active and easy to use while also delivering results. It also offers starter kits which are a great way for consumers to try a range of skincare items, and are ideal for travellers. There are seven kits to choose from tackling different skin issues, and they come in small sizes and a pouch in which to carry them. The A-Zinc kit is ideal for a normal to dry skin, containing five skin care goodies. They include three essential topical vitamins, including the SupremaC+ essential Vitamin C serum I’ve reviewed before, along with a gentle pH balanced cleanser, and a daily broad-spectrum UV protective moisturiser fortified with zinc oxide. The five provide you with an ideal daily skin care regime. In the morning you cleanse your skin using UltraCleanse; simply add a small amount to moist hands, massage into the face, and remove using a wet facecloth or tepid water (it's safe to use on eye area too). Next, you apply one pump of SupremaC+ serum to your face and neck, followed by a pea-sized amount of ÜberZinc moisturiser without rubbing in, and you’re good to go. At night, use the UltraCleanse to remove dirt and make-up, then apply one pump of Ultimate A serum to your face and neck and wait for three minutes to be fully absorbed. Then add one pump of the Vitamin B serum to the face and neck, followed by a pea-sized amount of ÜberZinc moisturiser and you’re good to get some rest. I was already a fan of Synergie Skin’s vitamin C serum and mineral makeup, and these additional products in the kit didn’t disappoint. If you are looking for a trial, or some effective skin care products to travel with to keep your skin looking great, these kits are terrific value and do what they promise.
