Road Test
If you enjoy using self-tanning products as I do, and you travel a lot, I’m always somewhat taken by products which are flexible or multi-task. As mentioned in my previous blogs I’ve recently come across Tanologist, a self tanning range with a cult following created by the make-up artist, beauty influencer and ultimate 'TANOLOGIST', Lottie Tomlinson. Tanologist ticks a number of boxes; it’s the world’s first vegan self tanning brand to be tested and approved by dermatologists, it’s suitable for people with sensitive skins, it won’t dry your skin out, and it won’t clog pores. It also has a unique transparent formula which won’t transfer onto your clothes or sheet. Of the four products I was sent to try, Self Tan Drops piqued my curiosity the most. It comes in three shades - Light, Medium and Dark - and the drops are designed to be mixed with your skincare, makeup or body care products. This makes them easy to apply and 100 per cent customisable, ideal for newbies and experienced tanners, and travellers who don’t want to carry too many products. As I was sent a bottle of Dark drops, I decided to road test this product only on my face, adding it to my nighttime moisturiser after cleansing and before bed. Tanologist recommends using two-to-12 drops at time, so you can choose the level of glow you want, so I opted for the lowest number first, especially as the drops were the darkest shade. They smelled lightly of eucalyptus with very little fake tan “odour”, which is a plus, and they had the consistency of a serum rather than an oil which made the product easier blend into a product and then into the skin. Next morning my face had a natural looking glow, which was neither too dark nor too light, and it lasted well.

Love Them
Bought them at Priceline before Xmas and they are terrific as you can add them to any body moisturiser or skincare. The drops are a tiny bit oily but soak in quickly and dry quickly. Lovely colour, no smell too.
