Road Test
Hemp oil skincare is all the rage right now, and while it’s true that it is derived from the cannabis plant, it contains no psychoactive properties whatsoever. What is does have, however, is an impressive list of skin-loving benefits, including a high concentration of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids, both of which offer significant hydrating and anti-inflammatory benefits for the skin, especially to fight the signs of ageing. As a bonus it’s also non-comedogenic, making it suitable for anyone with acne-prone skin. The Inkey List Hemp Oil Moisturiser is lovely product with a focus on hemp oil along with two other key ingredients to help re-energise and hydrate skin. One is green tea extract, which is rich in antioxidant polyphenols and helps to soothe and calm the skin, and coconut oil, which also acts as a wonderful moisturiser by creating a barrier on the skin to trap moisture in. This power packed moisturiser smells a little earthy, which is to be expected but not unpleasant, and it has a lovely lightweight texture which spreads easily and melts quickly into the skin, leaving it soft, supply and nicely hydrated. It’s also a universal moisturiser you can use day and night, which is great for travellers especially, and a pea-sized amount will suffice for the face and neck. The Inkey List Hemp Oil Moisturiser is a great choice for anyone with combination or dry skin, as it moisturises well without clogging pores, and it’s also highly affordable.
