Road Test

Like collagen, Q10 is an essential enzyme which occurs naturally in our bodies, protecting your skin from damage caused by a variety of environmental stressors including pollution. It does its work in the upper layers of your skin to repair cells, hydrate, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles, but as we age, levels of Q10 start to decline, so one option is to add a boost of it to your skin via a serum. The Inkey List has an impressive lineup of face serums on offer to tackle a variety of skin care issues including natural ageing. Its Q10 Serum is one, a lightweight facial serum designed to boost and protect, and as a bonus it can be used in addition to your usual serums. The formula contains Syn-tacks, The Inkey List’s special dual peptide which has collagen-boosting benefits and gives an added boost to the skin to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also contains squalene, a non-comedogenic, rich source of fatty acids and antioxidants which is hydrating, gentle and believed to possess anti-inflammatory properties. I road tested the The Inkey List Q10 Serum for two weeks, adding it to my routine morning and night. I applied a pea sized amount in the morning after cleansing and before my vitamin C serum and moisturiser, and again at night after cleansing and before my vitamin A serum and moisturiser. The serum is lightweight and has no aroma, and it melts easily into the skin which will be great for the hotter and more humid months. My skin definitely felt more soft and hydrated after a few days of use. Q10 Serum is free of a range of “nasties” including parabens, oils and fragrances, and it is a great choice for anyone who finds that vitamin C is too irritating for their skin more sensitive skin. The Inkey List Q10 Serum is a great addition to every skincare regime, and it’s especially great for anyone who’s sensitive, and travellers thanks to its neat, small tube.

My daughter, who's just turned 20, put me on to this brand a few months ago. I am using the hyaluronic acid and a face oil. Love both.

    Interesting.....

I've heard of people taking Q10 but not putting it on their skin. Also the price point is so low I'd be worried about this sort of serum doing any good!
