Road Test

I’ve had a love-hate relationship with bronzers for years, finding few products which are not only nice to wear but also look natural on the skin. Then I discovered Trinny London’s Golden Glow, right in the middle of the Australian winter! Like many people, and especially living in southeastern Queensland, I enjoy having a sun-kissed look from time to time, even during the cooler months. But this, coupled with my difficulty finding products I like to use, posed a dilemma. Then along came Golden Glow, Trinny London’s range of sheer, gel-based bronzers which are easy to use, and leave your complexion glowing and looking fresh and fabulous. I got to road test one of the shades, Jensta, and loved it from the start. The lightweight, sheer, gel formula feels lovely on your fingertips, and it blends effortlessly into the skin allowing for a quick, buildable and mistake-free application. To use, simply focus on the high points of your face where the sun normally hits to create naturally tanned definition – your forehead, cheekbones and bridge of he nose - and build up the colour as you desire. Jensta is a lovely gentle golden bronze which would suit most skin tones, but Golden Glow is now available in three shades; in addition to Jensta there’s Soala, a rich chestnut bronze, and the new Gaia, a neutral toffee bronze.
