Many people need to use a portable lunch box these days, including travellers, but when it comes to versatility, there’s nothing quite like those on offer from Vaya Life. The Tyffyn lunch box comes in two sizes, a three-container lunch box perfect for big meals, and a two-container lunch box ideal for children or a light meal. The Tyffyn also comes with containers in two different finishes, including classy copper-finished containers, and classic polished stainless steel containers. The inner containers also come in three sizes and have partitions for flexibility. You can replace your inner containers, get extra ones, use them by themselves to store or carry food. The 600ml size is great for salads, one-pot meals or just for sharing. The Tyffyn lunch box I got to test was a two-container small one in blue, and attractive features include a collapsible handle, and a stainless steel slim body which can fit easily into a bag, including a travel or carry on bag. Other key things to mention include the VacuTherm Insulation, which keeps your food hot or cold for up to six hours, and leak-resistant lids which are essential for people on the move. The lunch box also has a heat protective finger grip, and stainless steel pressurising latches. The Tyffyn is not designed to carry both hot and cold food at the same time, and is ideal stews, soups, mashed potatoes, and pasta, while cold foods can include salad, yogurt, ice cream, fruit, cheeses, potato or rice salad. I tried one of each: a hot pasta dish, which stayed beautifully warm on a road trip, and potato salad, which stayed nicely chilled.
