Charlotte Tilbury has become a hot new name in beauty, and one of her latest offerings, Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow is set to become yet another cult complexion brightener. Self described as a “miracle fix” it’s designed to turn around tired, dull, dehydrated skin in a flash - a cross between an anti-age elixir and a complexion-enhancing light diffuser to give your skin an instant “spotlight” effect. It works thanks to a breakthrough Fluorescent Core Light Diffuser which steals UV light from its surroundings and re-emits it as skin luminosity. Meanwhile collagen-boosting peptides and patented wrinkle-preventing ingredients are fused with light-reflecting microspheres with a fluorescent core that fill in wrinkles and scatter light to blur away lines and flood skin with luminosity. The result? Youthful and healthy looking skin which glows while also being hydrated. And what’s not to love about that?
Ideal for travellers, this product can be used on its own as a skin pep-up and to create a dewy look, or it can be mixed with a light foundation or tinted moisturiser as a boost. Other key ingredients include Sodium Hyaluronate, which forms a film of hyaluronic acid over the skin, sealing in moisture, whilst extracts of Wild Pansy promote the renewal of hyaluronic acid in the skin surface to retain and flood the skin with moisture. Floral accents of rose hip oil and camellia oil regenerate, restructure and moisturise the skin, and the formula is kind to skin being paraben-free. Whether you use Wonderglow as a primer, a luminous highlighter, or you mix it with a liquid foundation, the silky texture is fluid enough to layer or blend seamlessly. Once blended into skin, the glistening hue sheers out to a translucent golden shimmer which catches the light and highlights skin. It also comes in a travel-friendly size, a 40 ml plastic tube. Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow costs rrp $76, from www.charlottetilbury.com.
